I really thought it would be slick but it was KILLER for my car... My 60's were 1.563, 1.562. 1.563. 1.565
Anyone notice all the dead on runs?? Wheeler said 10 of the first 12 that went down the track in mod was DEAD ON... that must say something for the track....

Rodney Wade won Mod and Faluconer was at 4 in box and 7 in Mod.
that track is making a killing had around 130 cars in all 3 brackets and about 1500 spectators.

Chris, I was wondering how you guys did up there. I heard they were making a killing. They used to be super nice people back in the day. Did they treat you guys good? Dad has went there years ago and only be 8 cars in Super Pro and they still put up a thousand dollars. How many times you see this happen? I liked to make the trip sometime with the S-10, but not the dragster.

I saw some pics awhile back on DRR, but I havn't seen any new pics. I heard they repaved the return road and staging lanes maybe, but not the track. That things gotta be getting rough. I got some pics of dad racing there around 1988-90. The 55 that come to bluegrass "back in black", Jim South, and the Blairs. Saw some bad wrecks there too. One guy jumped the creek at the other end and landed on the other side. They always did have a crowd though. I heard it was like $5-10 for a car load. I think were planning on going up there sometime or other before they shutdown.
