I tried doing the buyback thing once....lost first and second rounds....never do it again.
Killed my round/win average.
A better idea is a consolation race for first round losers and run for a nice trophy.
Makes hanging around the track worth it....especially with a tow bill at $ 3.00 per gallon.
Just an idea.

FIRST ROUND ONLY---
TRACKS NEED TO DO THINGS TO DRAW SPECTATORS INSTEAD OF BLEEDING THE RACERS.
EVERY TIME YOU CHOP THE PURSE YOU WILL LOOSE A FEW MORE RACERS AND THEN YOU HAVE TO CHOP THE PURSE AGAIN--KIND OF LIKE WHICH CAME FIRST? CHICKEN OR THE EGG
