Why is Steve Poynter racing in a points race? I thought that if you worked at the track you were not allowed to race in a points event. Not that he is a threat, it just fair is fair. He either needs to anounce or race, he can't do both!

I dunno about the rules but I really don't see a problem with him or any body else that works at the track racing (unless of course he loads me up ;D) . Still hafta cut a light and run the number so I don't think working there give's anyone an advantage . There are other things though that do offer an advantage . It's tough enough to go rounds with no distractions so if he can do both I say "have at it"....

I agree gene whats wrong the person complaining must have gotten beat by him. If he is not a threat like you said then why should there be a problem   |

I think he does pretty good in both, but hes a better announcer than racer though!!! Just kidding Poyter!!

believe it or not some people do complain i had to stop working there so i could race i still get complaints because my wife runs the computer cannot make some people believe that you can cheat that way cannot make everybody happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree with gene also , it's not a problem if he can do both have at it , merc. man same goes with u work and race don't matter in super et it's all in fun and i also know poyter is having a ball also so i say have at it men. keep it up life to short to go around unhappy. why can't we all just get along. if u were in the shape i was in 2 yrs ago u could care less about anyone else i'm just happy to be able to race myself.
