Love the track and good people that work it. Raced owingsville sunday they paid 1000 and 300 in no box only 38 cars they also paid same purse saturday with 31 cars. Raced clay city saturday payout was 300w 150 r up 20 cars i think plus all buybacks. you double 20 cars to 40 and double purse still couldnt match o ville. No points updated for 4 weeks come on guys get it together we spend thousands a year at that place we would like to see results and points. I am not only speaking for myself many people have been talking about it as well. Reason so many ran points this year because thought bracket finals were there like said at banquet. I will probably race points next year there but you guys have got to get it together. Everyone loves the track but updating points is a big thing from racers standpoint. If you guys dont have time give moe a couple bucks and im sure he could update every week. Just trying to give you all some tips from the racers standpoint. 8-) not making anyone mad just making a point from racers view thanks

Moe would be good at that he stays on the ball, sure mason hatton could tell him the points lol. would like to see mt park pay better would def draw more cars if purse was garanteed maybe next year they can get a sponsor so they can? know what i mean lol

I really hope that they make super street a class where you cannot run slicks. You can only have street tires or dot approved radials. that would help modified purse some. i am going to enter points both places and going to race where ever the bracket finals are going to be probably. after last weekend when bluegrass payed the full purse when they was 9 and 2 short of minimum makes me like that place a little more.

. when i get to go I'm going to the city but there is times I'll go to ville. That aint saying much cause i dont get to go alot but it will be more than last year atleast twice!lol

if you can afford to travel much unlike me London is the place to race if you like racing for the money. They guarantee 1000 in footbrake 70% of the races is what Craig told me today. If i was just a little closer or didnt work saturdays id be running points there. but guess ill run points at mp and run different places when not a points race. nothing against top racers but really wish they could cut 500 off topet and put on mod. to bring us to to aleast 800$ to win. hope mt park has some good things for us this year! 8-)

When the sipples had cc they paid $1,000 in mod to win every week.. Now they will tell you that times are different and they dont get the cars they used to.. Thats true but people starting going elsewhere when they jacked the top purse way out of line and cut the mod purse way out of line.. Not everyone wants to race top et.. its not everyones goal.. Some people like racing off the bottom but they seem to think that top is all that matters..

You are right if london was closer that would be the place for the bottom bulbers to race.. Its hard to go race mod at clay city when your not sure what its gonna pay.. Not worth racing if its only gonna pay $300 to win if you split the final you are gonna get $200.. LOL , heck it costs $150 just to race with fuel and everthing else..

That is the truth! I guess I need to get a box if I feel froggy one weekend LOL If not I'll keep chasing that 300$ purse! There is not a doubt in my mind that if Mt park would spend a little more money they could add 35-50 racers. By spending money I mean raising the purse even if they loose money at first it will quickly draw racers and make the money back. Also by improving some lighting on return roads and improve speaker system also a few more thing but with the improvements the parkway has made with the on and off ramps they could definitely take some racers in from other tracks by just raising payouts. Just my .02 I'm still rookie too so my word doesn't mean much 8-) any news on banquet?

Times are tough... no doubt.. And they have done a lot of improvements the last several years.. I just wish they would show mod some love..

I havent gotten to race much the last couple of years, hopefully this year I can race atleast a couple times a month.. I miss being at the track on saturdays.. lol

What Mt Park needs to do is get away from the Super Street class and go back to trophy class. Ya i know some guys would get mad but they could throw in $100 to winner and only let certain cars in the class. Needs to be a beginners class to draw new racers/kids to this sport. Should only have Box, Bottom Bulb, trophy class for beginners, jrs and bikes.

Thnik about it if a new racer came into the sport and went to MP to race and they wanted to run the cheapest class and had to run Blackburn, Mason, O`Neal every weekend how long would they stay. Not bashing those guys but its the truth.

MP has a chance at a good deal over there if they just get it going the right way. I know alot them guys like 1/4 mile but gotta do what they gotta do.

Really think about it, why should Super St be even in the Summit Series with guys racing against street type cars anyways.
