heard rumors they want to make it street tire only to help mod car count just a rumor right now thogh we will find out in march i guess

There needs to be a beginners class to attract racers in every weekend. Don't know if it should replace super street though. What happened to the trophy class?

i think they should have a trophy class for 20 dollar entry street tires only no dot slicks of any kind strictly street cars. give a trophy and 75 dollars or something have a ten dollar buyback put the rest of the money to the mod payout to try and draw more modified racers could even pay a 100 and a trophy five cars would pay for that payout rest could help the mod guys. Promote this though hand out flyers on test and tunes maybe even post some around some of the surrounding counties. Just get the word out about it

I like this idea and have thought for a long time that there needs to be a class for new racers to hone their skills and have a good time so bringing back the trophy class under these rules is a good idea. However, I would quietly use the extra money to raise modified payout, as the racers may resent supplementing another class. Just do it without saying much about it. And I wouldn't worry so much about veteran racers running the class with such a small payout, as they may have a street car to play around with too.
And I would stop racing completely if Super ET is eliminated so I hope that doesn't happen.

super et killed modified,ohio valley has trophy no super et ,trophy cant run slicks and they get anywhere from 40 or more cars weekly every week in modified

i dont win often but when i get lucky and goto the finals i would like to have more than $200 or $300 bucks

maybe someone should bring this up to mt park see what they think dont see how they could loose money on a trophy class they need the money to help the modified payout super et almost get as much as modified does now and top gets too much so dont see how the other racers could get upset about putting it towards mod but sure someone would i dont race for the money but would like to see more mod cars and looks like payout is the only way to do it alot of people dont race for fun anymore

When I race at MP I always run Modified however I'm geared for 1/8 or 1/4.

Back in the day when I first started racing I ran Trophy class and the lanes were always full. What happened?

Lane 1 would have a handful of 10-11 second cars. Lane 2 would have like 10-20 12 second cars and then the other lanes would be flooded with everything else... Seems like there were always over 100 trophy cars.
