Joey Whitt
Joey Whitt who worked at Mt Park Dragway as tech official and the staging lanes lost his life returning to work in Virginia Sunday night. Thoughts and prayers go out to Joey Whitt's family and friends.Dallas,Vickie,Scotty,and family,sorry for your loss, Joey will be missed by all. |

Joey was the BEST at his job.. It wont be the same at MP without him there.... I am glad to say I was his friend and I hope he thought the same of me...

He was always the same no matter where you saw him, whether it be out in town or at the racetrack. He loved his job, and was good at it... he will definitely be missed. God Speed Joey, God Speed...

Joey was a super guy , that always had a smile on his face. I was always impressed by the way that he always seem to be so happy , while doing his job that he was very good at. He will truly be missed by everyone that new him. Thoughts and prayers go out to Dallas,Vicki,Scotty and family.

I can honestly say i was proud to have joey as a friend, he was a awesome guy, its still hard to believe he is gone we was just talking to him Saturday in the lanes, goes to show you that life is unpredictable. He always had a smile on his face no matter what, I've stood at the head of the lanes talking to him as he watched a pair go down the track the win light come on and he would just laugh, really good guy best at his job no doubt loved every minute of it its where he wanted to be. We will see you on the other side buddy at the head of the line telling us what side to take, you will be greatly missed and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends from the brewer's and snowden's RIP Brother we'll be seein ya.

Hearne Funeral Home
Stanton, KY
Visitation - Wednesday 5pm - 9pm
Funeral - Thursday at 1:00pm
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Peoples Exchange Bank in Stanton, KY to Vicki Clark for Kaycee Jo and Jake Whitt.

The track will never be the same...i don't get there much anymore...but when i did..he alay wanted to know why i wasn't there...he alway's said jim didn't know what he was doing without me...lol...not true but he alway's put a smile on my face...great guy.....earths loss...heaven gain...I Miss You Joey...GOD SPEED....  |
