Thanksgiving Shoot-Out Cancelled because of weather

With temperatures falling into the mid 20's for lows and highs only in the 40's on Friday and Saturday, LCD has decided to cancel this weekend's event. "With such a short amount of daylight this time of year, the sun is actually gone before 4pm in the central time zone, we have elected to cancel the event because of the cold temperatures", stated track owner Gene Barker. "We regret any inconviences this has caused anyone. I am contacting each racer who pre-entered and they will receive their original check back in the mail. Please feel free to contact me at 606-776-8020 if you have any questions."

but they are racing the next weekend.....


Dec 1-2
Box and No-box both paying $2500 to win with a $100 entry for both days or $60 a day.
also $1200 in footbrake.
and 2-32 shootout for box and no-box paying $4000 to win.

the weather is not going to get any better, it will be hard to get in a race this time of the year, you never know what the weather will be like

in the extended forecast it looks good right now high is suppose to be around 65 next weekend

i have not watched the weather but if it is going to be in the 60's should be a good weekend to race
