just checking to see how many of you would be interested in running points. we will be holding a points program for kentucky racers, 100% payback with 20 entry points will be awarded with 1 point for entry 1 point for semi 2 points for runner up and 3 points for a win and buy backs do not matter. let us no if interested and if you have any questions or input on making it better there will also be a big check and a plaque for the points winner.......... more details to follow

$20 entry.
$1000.00 total payout.
$600 winner + Big check and Glass Plaque.
$200 second
$100 third
$75 fourth

I think it sounds great! I would try to do it, but I will be on a pretty limited schedule this year. What kind of schedule are we looking at as far as the number of races, and how may different tracks? If its not to overwhelming with lots of travel, I would like to specifically run something like this!
Also, I don't want to hijack the thread but I seen the link to the kentucky bracket racing page. Make sure you keep it up!! I like reading about local drag racing! If you need any graphics made up for the page or what not hit me up, I have plenty of boring free time now!

It would be a deal were you run at your local track and the points keep from that track,thats why it would be points only for win,r/up and semi and 1 to enter.easier to keep up with.and it would run from May 1 to August 31....not sure on the exact dates,but first weekend of May to last weekend of August....could come up with the dates if enough interest.

i run ohio valley what if they dont have points a weekend and other tracks do,but i'm up for it let us know how its gonna work,the valley runs points almost every weekend

I know I may be knit picking the details but will there be a claim limit on the points or will all wins/runner ups/semis be tallied throughout the season? I cant run a full schedule this year and it got me thinking about if one track rains out 4 times and the other races every weekend the people who race at the dry track are able to get in 4 more races thus having 4 more chances at gaining points. |

We will work out a schedule weekends that will work good for everyone,when we get things firgured out we will see what tracks everyone is going to run and decide on dates.
