Hello,
Where does everyone buy their slicks at?
Summit and Jegs? Im trying to find some used ones for now but am having no luck so new ones might have to be bought.
28x9x15,
is there someone local who sells>?
Thanks
Dan

Chris Barker
If you are not needing them right now, but later, I have a set (28x9-15's) that I will be selling in a month or two.

We use Harlow tires. I can get you the number. Ricky Roe turned me to him. No complaints

I'm a very satisfied Instant Karma customer. But, Chris is probably much closer to you than IK, in Walton, KY.

I buy my goodyears from Hopper. He is a Hoosier dealer, but he knows that some prefer different products.he has to order anything but Hoosier,he keeps plenty of those in stock.

There is no shipping cost on the Hoosiers.

I like my Hoosiers. The one set of Goodyears I had took a lot of weight to balance, and they're more expensive. But, I'm sure Hoosier has made some poorly balanced slicks too. My last set of Hoosiers were on the car for 390 passes... And worked well for about the first 350!

I didn't like the Hoosiers. I had a set on the digger for less than 50 runs and dragged my old set of goodyears out of the barn. Went more consistent and 5 hundredths quicker. We run 14 32's on the Vega in a goodyear but the hoosiers rub. So rather than go back to 13 we just stay with what we know. What size tire is your and Homeys stuff running Phil?

The Vega is very contrary. It likes new tires every 150 passes or so. Then they usually go on someone elses car. You are doing good.
