Did anyone on here make it Saturday, I have to go to Pikeville to pick up some parts so I didn't
My buddy went he said the track was awful he made two passes and went home, he said they needed some big tire cars to lay a lil rubber down before us 10" tire guys would have a prayer!
The track is never great opening day in my opinion..

Must not have been to bad Bill Conley went 5.07 in his new Camaro and Eddie Patrick went 5.31 on 10".It will get better I promise what can u expect 42 degrees and only 15 or 20 actual race cars, mostly street tires.

yeah, too much of a chance of breaking something on a green track and the temps were bad also. I did hear today that Sipple may have their Top Fuel car there this weekend around 1:00 or so. Heard that talked to Dallas and he is going to work the track pretty good to the 330', guess they are going to do some testing. That should help bring things around now if the weather would warm up it would be great. I'll probably come down and watch.
