Who would come and run one of these races on Memorial day weekend say May 25 Sunday at Bluegrass???
Say a $50 entry maybe with a 1st rd buyback of $20 with a gaureenteed $500 to win and the rest based on car count??
Gonna give Gene a call and try to get him to give it a try, theres been alot of talk about racers wanting to try this,so lets see if they really are wanting to.
It would be also no T-STOPS and no running under a 6.40 with alot of sandbagging either.

Sounds like a lot of fun! Too bad the date doesn't work for me, or I'd probably be there. One question: what qualifies "sandbagging?" If I set up for a 6.48 and dump, am I DQ'ed? Surely not.

Things come up every day. I work and race thats all I do and I walk my walk and try to do everything I say. I wish I never replied to this message because I felt like crap for there only being 4 cars.

I had planned on running it if I had my car back, (just got it saturday).. If you do a 5.70 you will probably have less than that many cars..
Thats big down south, but people up here are funny.. Dont know if they would go for it or not.. I think its a great idea..

Too bad the date doesn't work for me, or I'd probably be there. You really can't judge the success of a new race on either Memorial Day or Labor Day weekend based solely on attendance. Every track has something going on. The established events will pull in the cars and the new ones will suffer. If there weren't so many competing events at so many neighboring tracks (who DIDN'T have a special race?) the car count would have been higher.
